The soul is never wrong

The soul is never wrong
The soul is never wrong. It doesn’t lie. When two people have called to each other from that deep place within and have fallen in love, the heart has instinctively followed a divine plan. It has delivered true love.

But true love doesn’t always come dressed in the manner we expect. And contrary to what many believe, although the emotional chemistry may be there, the physical chemistry may not be immediately felt, even though a romantic soul connection is the purest form of intimacy.

And here’s the point. Real life romance and intimacy isn’t always the way Hollywood has portrayed it. Physical chemistry can occur immediately – but it can also be developed over time, especially if you love that person and find yourself enjoying their company, even longing for them in their absence if it’s a long-distance relationship.

You see, we’ve been sold a lie that everything has to happen spontaneously; that your true love will come and sweep you off your feet instantly; that the passion will flow like a raging river the moment you lay eyes on each other.

And it may be so, but then again, it may not happen quite like that. And if it doesn’t, it’s not to say it wasn’t meant to be. Good things often take time. There may be buried treasure there, requiring that you look carefully at what is before you with your inner eyes, not just at the superficial, external level.

Don’t go into a relationship with an expectation based on the hype of how true love is supposed to be, because you may inevitably be let down and end up saying goodbye to the one who is supposed to be in your life. Remember, the real test for true love is whether or not you have heard the soul’s call.
